UP at Elmtec’s Webinar Digital Day
Thank you Elmtec, the distribution partner for SketchUp in France, for giving us the floor alongside some of the biggest names in Sketchup’s ecosystem. We used this opportunity to introduce our extension to over 100 architects/interior designers.
The demos have been ongoing for a month now and 25 brands have already joined our plug-in! Over 1,500 products—all certified, updated and priced—made available to our beta testers (architects and interior designers) to test and improve our functions every day.
You can discover them on https://www.instagram.com/oxp.app/
Soon, almost 10,000 3D models and their related data will be available on UP, mainly centred on main segments of home interior: furniture, lighting, flooring, walls.

Demos are now OPEN!
Watch out as the development of the MVP of our UP plug-in is around the corner! We are carrying out the first demonstrations based on an Alpha version with our “designer brand” clients, prospective clients and also our users (architects, interior designers…)
The initial feedback has exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled to see that SketchUp’s professionals have unanimously confirmed the huge savings in both time and efficiency!

“Sheepbox”, the cherry on the cake!
Configuring search functions for objects is essential for ensuring a smooth user experience. At the urging of our beta testers, we took this into account when developing the search layout: we thought long and deep about how to organise and name the data, how to transform raw data into enhanced data, keywords that are specific to the line of work… and as a result, we successfully came up with solutions that were not only innovative, but incredibly satisfying.
And that’s not all. We came up with the ultimate idea… unprecedented, never seen before, never done before… We delved deeper, worked harder and finally filed a patent.
Its code name? Sheepbox. We are proud, extremely proud. And we’re convinced that it will revolutionise how people search for objects!
To be discovered in a short while on our UP extension – or right away in our demos!
OXP raises its first round of funding with OTIUM CAPITAL.
After initiating the process in August 2020 to accelerate the development of the extension UP, which will initially run on SketchUp, OXP successfully raises it first round of funding with Otium Capital and two business angels specialising in digital transformation and in platform systems.
These funds should enable OXP to launch its extension, intended for the use of architects, interior designers and designer brands in the sector of housing.
3D Modeling before the extension.
As it awaits the previously announced release of UP, a solution that is set to revolutionise the relationship between designer brands in the housing/interior design industry and their prescribers (architects, designers, home stagers), OXP is launching OXP Modeling.
A service that not only helps designer brands understand the challenges of creating 3D images of their products, but also the challenge of comprehensively assessing their future needs before determining the most suitable formats for their models.
Frédéric Tabary, co-founder of OXP, interior designer and modeling expert since 2014, along with his team of modelers, have already seduced the likes of Drucker, Acrila, Jacuzzi and La Redoute for the creation of photorealistic images in the SKP format, which will then be integrated into the UP platform―whose launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021.
